SMART ROTOR UNDER UNCERTAIN PARAMETERS

Resumo

This contribution aims at analyzing the effect of uncertain parameters on the dynamic response of flexible rotor using active vibration control methods. The uncertain parameters are considered as small variations with respect to their nominal values that are modeled by means of random variables and random fields. The random fields are discretized according to the spectral method by using Karhunen-Loève expansions. The dynamics, of the flexible rotor under uncertain parameters and considering its active vibration control, is characterized with the help of its stochastic methods. Numerical simulations illustrate the dynamic response of the rotors showing the improvement of the performance with robustified controllers.
