Waste recycling of aluminum anodizing process for internal coating of oil refining pipes

Resumo

The significant volume of industrial sludge of aluminum anodizing industries has caused great environmental impact. This sludge has a significant amount of aluminum hydroxide that has been heat treated at 200 °C, 1000 °C and 1400 °C gives, after X-ray diffraction tests and X-ray fluorescence, gradual increase of the percentage of alumina 93% after the last calcination temperature. By obtaining ceramic mass high percentage of alumina, the aim is the production of refractory petroleum refining pipeline coating, through mass blasting metal pipe, verifying through scanning electron microscopy and hardness tests vickers the efficiency of this ceramic mass as increased life alternative cracking pipe oil and environmental alternative to a halt.
