Resumo
The purpose of this work is to replace the filter from the existing EDM machine in VIASEF company by a magnetic system. It is expected that the magnetic system to become faster, more efficient and with a longer life when compared to the Cotton Linter Filter that is currently used by the company. The prototype was made proportionate to the dimensions of the EDM machine in the company to allow its use in the same. Tests were performed to determine the functioning and efficiency of the magnetic filter.
