Resumo

This article present a study of the shear wave propagation based on asymptotic dispersive method for the description of the dynamic processes in a periodically multi-laminate medium with perfect and/or non-perfect contact between the layers. The dispersion relation was derived analytically from the average model. Detailed numerical simulations are provided to illustrate graphically the phase and group velocity. The effects of the unit cell size, wave number and incident angle on the dispersion relation are also examined. The frequency band structure as a function of the wave-vector components is calculated
