Resumo

Big machines, as hydraulic turbogenerators, have a high cost of operational maintenance, especially for the low production during the maintenance period. The failure detection in initial state seeks to turn more simple and efficient the maintenance of the monitoring system in real time, that supplies knowledge about the machine, on their full activities of operation and transient condition, of the stops on overspeed, allowing the take of decisions been based on the equipment conditions and generation machines. These systems are based on the measurements of the electrical and mechanical parameters of the equipments as voltage, flowing, frequency, vibration, rotation speed, point temperatures, displacement, and others. In this study, it was developed an innovative methodology, whit the goal of analyze the bearings failures on hydraulic turbogenerators and its consequences on the energy generation system, trough the integration of field research and laboratory, failure simulation on a test bench specially developed, using non-destructive testing technique, based on thermography and evaluation of the vibration levels. On the tests of know failures, it were study its influence on the behavior of the vibration levels, orbit behavior, heating ramp of the bearings and the influence on the electrical parameters of the equipment. The tests data base, generated from the realized experiments, made possible the study of the techniques of signal processing applied to dynamic analysis of structures, besides contribute to the future failure diagnosis. The characteristic of the bearings temperature behavior, in function of each type of know failure, as the consequences of this failures on the electrical parameters, underlie the development of an intelligent system, incorporated to thermographic analysis software aiming the temperature monitoring on the bearings and the electric components of the energy generation system. For the application of the methodology on the field, it was used as laboratory the UHE- Peixe angial of E
