NUMERICAL DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATION RULES USING MAPLE SOFTWARE

Resumo
Using the Maple Software property to have no limits with the number of decimals and the size of the integers, the present work offers equations of Newton-Cotes Integration until twenty points. It shows Newton-Cotes closed and open integration equations. The new type Newton-Cotes semi-closed or semi-open was proposed. This method has important applications in the integration of tables or discrete functions. An analysis of error in the technique was made. To estimate the error of integration in discrete data, we propose apply different rules or mix several rules. The difference in the result of each equation provides an approximation of the error. Computational routines to generate Newton-Cotes integration rules were presented.
