Resumo

The present paper aims at developing a parallel computational model for numerical simulation of elastic poromechanics. The system of equations is solved using iterative method Symmtric Quasi-Minimal Residual with diagonal preconditioner. Compressed data structures are used to store the coefficient matrices in indefinite symmetric form. The MPI standard is used for distributed and shared memory communication in parallel implementation in a subdomain-by-subdomain approach. An example using different mesh sizes is presented to validate the model and the efficiency of the parallel implementation.
