Resumo
This present paper approaches the topology optimization in plane linear elasticity problems considering minimizing the volume with stress constraint via Boundary Element Method (BEM). For this purpose, o classic method ESO (Evolutionary Structural Optimization) is used coupled with the BEM for the optimization procedure. This optimization procedure is based on the gradual removal of internal points, with smaller stresses, compared to the maximum stress of the structure, this procedure is called "hard-kill". Thus it is created a cavities surrounding internal point whose stress Von Mises of satisfies criterion ESO removal, generating a hole around this point, i.e., a hexagonal cavities whose sides are linear elements which are included in the equations in influence for solving the linear system. This research presents a simple approach for creating cavities in the structure domain and the presented examples show the efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented program to topology optimization.
