Um modelo de estaca para análise de vibrações longitudinais

Resumo
Vibrations must be considered in the design of foundations of equipments and other devices which may interact with neighboring structures. Hence, natural frequencies of foundation elements are importante parameters to be determined. Herein longitudinal vibrations of piles modeled as bars in elastic Winkler foundation are studied. Natural frequencies are determined numerically by the Rayleigh-Ritz method. The longitudinal displacements are approximated by use of nodal functions at the ends of the bars, enriched with additional trigonometric functions. This method allows for easy refinement and consideration of property variations along the pile. The soil constants are determined by impact field tests and application of the Fast Fourier Transform on the resulting accelarations, and comparisons of predicted numerical results and actual measurements are made.
