Resumo
This research is on the dynamic behavior of the suspension of an off-road ground vehicle excited by the highly irregular surface of the floor. Given the expected large displacement, it is not possible to consider the system as linear. Thus, the resulting mathematical model shall be considered non-linear. In addition, rough terrain does not allow a deterministic description, and, for that reason, it must be considered as a random or stochastic excitation. Given the complexity of the mathematical model we do not seek an analytical solution, probably non-existent, and we use numerical methods to integrate the differential equations of motion.
