MODIFICATION OF PLASMA-SPRAYED COATINGS USING CLAD AND NANODISPERSED POWDERS

Resumo

Abstract. Some regularities of formation of plasma-sprayed coatings from clad aluminum oxide powders that enhance mechanical characteristics of substrate-coating system were studied. It has been established that the addition of a nanosized alumina powder into self-fluxing alloy powder also improves adhesion strength and wear resistance of plasma-sprayed coatings.
