Resumo
In the cancer treatment by radiofrequency (RF) hyperthermia and using nanoparticles, there are state variables, which are difficult to observe, quantify or measure, e.g. the heat source, temperature field and electric field. In this treatment the temperature levels are important, as of these depends the success of therapy. Then, the solution of a state estimation problem through the particle filters algorithm for estimate the temperature field, is considered the main focus in this paper, in which the performance of two particle filters is compared: the sampling importance resampling (SIR) and the Auxiliary Sampling Importance Resampling (ASIR).
