Resumo
The present work deals with the analysis applied to the main methods used in estimating the physical properties of photovoltaic devices. These devices are related to the mono and multijunction technologies, when they are exposed to changes of temperature and solar radiation. Four parameterization methods are presented, where three of them are analytical based on the devices' electrical characteristics, however, these methods are traditionally for mono-junction photovoltaic technologies. The last one method is the Generalized Reduced Gradient (GRG2) Algorithm for optimizing nonlinear problems. In order to evaluate the accuracy of each method, four different case studies from experimental data are proposed. Consequently, it is determined that just two among the methods shown satisfactory results for this type of application.
