Resumo

In this paper, examines the heat transfer that occurs within an internal combustion engine, this extremely important for proper operation for cogeration. About 35% percent of the total chemical energy that enters an engine in the fuel is converted to useful crankshaft work, and about 30% of the fuel energy is carried away from the engine in the exhaust flow in the form of enthalpy and chemical energy. Therefore, generation of performance high is the work being performed in the evaluation of new systems of power generation in the country in order to provide greater long-term demand, quality and efficiency in energy consumption an engine- absorption refrigeration system. With the modeling and deduction of the thermodynamics equations for each component of the engine, an algorithm in EES platform (Engineering Equation Solver) was generated for the automation of the calculus routines, it permits the simulation of several settings with alterations of the process variables.
