Resumo
In this work we applied the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method for the estimation of parameters appearing in Penne's equation for bioheat transfer. The inverse problem of parameter estimation was solved with simulated transient temperature measurements. A one-dimensional test case was used to explore the capabilites of the MCMC method for problems of bioheat transfer. The analysis of the sensitivity coefficients was performed in order to examine the linear dependence of the model parameters. The direct solution of the inverse problem was verified against a commercial code and results are presented for different combinations of parameter values, based on those available in the literature for skin, including tumors.
