ANALYSIS AND SIMULATION OF THE HOT WATER LAYER OF THE THE MULTIPURPOSE BRAZILIAN REACTOR - MBR

Resumo
The main goal of this work is to link the radiological alarm of the protection system to various causes, divided in three classes operation, maintenance and accidents. The commercial computational fluid dynamics software ANSYS CFX, in the version 16 will be used in this analysis. A reduced experimental device will be built to repeat the previous analysis. Next comparisons will be made to check if both the computational and experimental results are correlated. In addition, we will also use different software, to compare the results when they are submitted to the same mathematical model and the same initial boundary conditions. It is expected that this work will be helpful to the operation of the Brazilian Multipurpose Reactor, located in Iperó city.
