Resumo

The total annual energy received in a tilted surface can presente significant differences, the slope angle playing an important role. This paper performed an analysis of the influence of the surface slope on the annual energy received. It was developed a model to determine the annual solar radiation incidente on a surface located in Belo Horizonte, in the southern hemisphere. The slope of the surface was varied every 5 °, for different levels of clearness index. The results indicated that the values obtained for the total anual energy, the total energy in the summer and the total energy in winter are in good agreement with literature data.
