Resumo

This paper reports a study about uncertainties related to condensing in microchannels of fluid refrigerant R134a. Heat exchangers involving these microchannels are more efficient than conventional ones, in addition to having reduced use of refrigerant. The main goal of this study was to analyze the experimental uncertainty in the results of the heat transfer coefficient obtained during the condensation tests in microchannel. These tests were performed with mass flow ranging from 154 < G <307.9 kg / m2s, vapor quality ranging between 0.97 < x <1, heat flux between 18.3 < q'' < 27.65 kW/m2 and saturation pressure from 6.8 to 9.6 bar. The extended uncertainty presented for the values of heat transfer coefficient was U (h) = ± 8%. Then, this result was compared to the uncertainty of results demonstrated in similar works by other authors.
