Resumo

Abstract - The purpose of this research is to develop an automatic process based on simulation of productivity and project developments using results in the automation of a production process of electronic products. This process was performed manually and it was modified so that this work could be done by an industrial robot. The effectiveness of the methods used will be measured according to the following purposes: to increase productivity, reduce time used in the production process, reduce the number of operators and improve the process used. The modeling of the production process is performed with a proper simulation tool. Project development is done using CAD software, as well as the definition of the type of robot to be used and the peripherals to be used to meet the needs of the idealized project. Also to improve performance the system is upgraded by a vision system and the increase in the assembly cicle time is evaluated.
