Resumo
Distributed power generation in buildings that uses renewable energy sources has been proposed as an important alternative for countries to increase the technological basis of their energy matrix. In the case of Brazil, the possibility to incorporate distributed generation in buildings received a legal protection through recent electric sector regulation and energy efficiency standards improvements for buildings. For these reasons, new real estate enterprises under construction are designed with environmental sustainability vision, which evaluate the use of distributed generation in the planning stage. This article establishes a superstructure composed of different technologies for generation and cogeneration that can meet all residential building needs, including equipment that can take advantage of the available renewable energy. After proposing the superstructure, optimization-programming methods based on economic objective function and technical constraints are applied for defining the final configuration to be used in the building.
