Resumo

Undesirable vibrations in structures are a usual example of serviceability limit state in structures, and may lead from user's discomfort to fatigue ultimate limit states. In many factors related to cause vibrations, one can highlight the change of structure usage. This paper is a case study of a couple of reinforced concrete slabs, originally designed to be a sports materials storage, and then it's been used as a martial arts training place, inside a club in Brasília-DF. The study aims to identify the deflections caused by loads and the martial training induced vibrations. The structural and modal analyses will be run within the softwares Eberick V10, TQS 19 and ANSYS V18, determining the deflections, natural frequency, accelerations, velocities and induced deformations. Once the results are obtained, they'll be compared to the serviceability limitations established by ISO 2631-2, DIN 4150-4 and NBR 6118:2014.
