Análise de Alternativas de Suprimento Energético em Sistemas Industriais Utilizando Algoritmo Genético

Resumo

This paper proposes an optimization method based on the use of Genetic Algorithm (GA), aiming to achieve the optimal allocation of generators in industrial plants. The cost of energy purchased through the utility and internal generation, added with the costs involved with the lost energy in the industrial system are the minimization subjects. Thus, this algorithm is a interesting tool that helps professionals in the decision related to the amount of energy that will be purchased externally or internally generated. Simulations on hypothetical industrial plants were performed and the results show a good applicability of this method.
