Resumo
The information revolution, with an exponential flow of information and knowledge sources is a direct impact of human actions. It affects the human relations with the environment, the management of development changes, and the technological evolution, as a nested complex of relations closely related to human knowledge generation. The analysis and solutions of those problems need innovation, not only from the technological point of view, but mainly in the context of comprehension of knowledge generation, knowledge diffusion and knowledge transferring processes. We deal with the computational simulation of knowledge generation and diffusion in a look to the interactions between knowledge path chain and the velocity of the knowledge transferring. The adopted environment is a chain of research groups dealing and being affected by those phenomena. We present a model, developed in a discrete approach, which established a partial difference system of equations that guide the problem. This approach allows a numerical study of knowledge generation and diffusion, but also of the knowledge transferring process. A retention term is considered. It is identified with the knowledge revenue like process obtained by researches leaders as a result of human resources formation and knowledge transferring to the others researches of the chain. Accumulation and feed-back of knowledge as also as the paths of knowledge transfer are considered. A knowledge transfer term is also used, related to impedance process, as a function of the retention revenue phenomena and of the knowledge generation in the research chain. Some numeric experiments are performed, related to scientific knowledge generation data, and the changes in diffusion coefficients, generation behavior, and knowledge inductance, as also to evaluate the influence of retention term together with impedance function, on the knowledge transfer process. The model considers a transient two dimension domain as the researches chain of knowledge. Results behavior denotes the influence
