Resumo
The use of wind energy in Brazil and in the world has increased in recent years. This kind of technology employs electronic converters to adapt the intermittent primary source (wind) to the performance required by power grid. The present work performs an analysis of a wind farm connected to the Brazilian interconnected system focusing on the study of different issues related to power quality. This paper presents mitigating solutions to the problem of harmonic distortions and includes different analysis of the frequency response of the bus impedance of the point of common coupling (PCC).
