Critical Evaluation of a PV Plant Access Study at the DG Threshold Power Established in Brazil

Resumo

In this paper, an example of an access study of a 5 MW photovoltaic plant in the Triângulo Mineiro region is carried out, following the guidelines required by the ONS in Technical Note NT 009-2016 REV2 (2018). A first analysis is made considering the insertion of the plant in the National Interconnected System as a traditional concentrated generation, using HarmZs software. In addition, a second study is conducted treating the plant as a distributed generation to be connected to the local distribution network. Critical analyzes and discussions are made in view of the threshold power established for a distributed generation.
