Resumo

This work aims to present the possible effects, in context of voltage fluctuation, caused by the connection of photovoltaic farms at distribution network. So, from MATLAB software, it was modeled an electrical system with 4 photovoltaic systems. By varying the solar irradiance, three case studies were studied in such a way to highlight that inter harmonic components can be produced by the photovoltaic farms. Once the voltage fluctuation is related to the presence of inter harmonics components, such phenomenon also exists. Then, the short-term flicker (Pst index) is analyzed. The results show that depending on the variation of solar irradiance, a high Pst value can be produced by the photovoltaic system.
