Resumo

The purpose of this work is to present a methodology for the analysis of energy efficiency in threephase induction motors used in level control systems, since these applications are widely used in the residential and industrial sectors. In this study, the main types of starting methods of introducion motors (direct, star triangle, softstarter and frequency inverter) were compared in terms of financial costs, efficiency and effects on electric Power quality. Measurements were performed using na analizer on a level bench with a motor-pump located at Laboratory of Energy Efficiency in the Federal University of Pará - UFPA
