Resumo

This paper presents a control design for infinite dimensional systems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. By using finite differences method, differential flatness theory and model simplifications, we propose to reduce the original problem to the control of a group of independent low order single input systems. The control strategy is illustrated with a heat diffusion problem through numerical simulations.
